Since I can't figure out all this computer stuff, and David is at work, I can't put a link to it just yet. Our new Pocket wizards!

After the DWF convention, we realized a few tools we were lacking, and no photographer should be without, one of those being a set of pocket wizards. They are a device that triggers your flash when it's off your camera. Here are some of the practice tests :) Enjoy

Come see us at the Laketown Bridal show!

Hey all! If you are still looking for any part for your upcoming wedding, check out the Laketown Bridal Show at the Laketown Golf & Conference Center. I believe it is $5.00 to get in the door, and prizes and discounts will be going on from many of our favorite wedding vendors! After so many reception halls have shut down last year, this may be one to consider yet! :) Saturday, 12:00pm-4:00pm. Hope to see you there!

Carter : 8 Weeks old

Carter is the first baby of David's good friend Ryan at Walter's Gardens Inc. We were able to set up the 'studio' in our living room since our porch studio is only a 3-season porch :) (not good for little ones) :) Carter was great! I had gone to high school with both his parents and it was great to get to see them both again. Here's some teaser's of this little man's photo shoot. More to see in his gallery on the website in a few days. Thanks guys!!!!

2010 DWF Convention in Nashville, TN

We had a BLAST at the DWF convention in Nashville over the last 4 days! We are so inspired and pumped to get out and shoot to practice new style techniques and lighting exercises! It was amazing. We stayed at the beautiful Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville and took a shuttle to the Gaylord for the ImagingUSA tradeshow where about 500 vendors displayed booths and loads of information. We went to several seminars including the amazing Cliff Mautner, Jerry Ghionis, and Kevin Kubota. David took some shots that we are happy to display to show you our experience. It was cold there too, so coming home wasn't too painful :) We are thrilled to see our son, and our dogs again :)

Look who's 2!!!

Well, again, we found that getting photos of our little guy are the hardest ones to get! He won't stop moving!!!! (except while sleeping) :) Anyway, this was our best attempt :)

First Maternity Shoot

Well, this is an experimental shoot for us, using me as the guinea pig :) I am 28 weeks along in these photos... I told David that if he wanted a shoot of my growing belly, he best do it soon or else I would be too self conscience to allow for pictures. (my hideous popping belly botton will show why) These photos are all very similar because I didn't want it to focus on me, so it's only the belly :) Feed back would be cool, just leave a comment on this blog post to let us know if this is 'our' style of shooting in an experimental category :)
