Kai & Keegan : Brothers

These two should get cutest kids of the year award!  What adorable smiles!  Kai and Keegan have come to my studio a few times now, and Keegan is just finishing up his 'forget-me-not' fourth session at 2 years old!  His brother Kai came for his 4 year session and we had a blast!  Kai helped me clean up the studio afterwards, and tried to help me change out lights and backgrounds :) LOL!  What a good little guy!  Here are some teasers of these adorable kiddos!!!

Brad & Rachel : 2.9.2013

This couple was ADORABLE!  I can't say it enough.  I love their chemistry!  Brad and Rachel didn't know each other very long before they just KNEW they were meant to be.  After doing their engagement session last fall, I couldn't wait to shoot their wedding!!!  

Their winter wedding was beautiful!  I prayed for the snow to stay, and it did :)  Everything went smoothly for their wedding day... well, after the jewelry arrived.  lol!  Rachel was all smiles, and brightened the day.... as if the day wasn't bright enough!  It was one of those Michigan snow blindness days.... sun+bright white snow= squinting.  I loved the sun, the light, the snow, the bride and groom, EVERYTHING.   Here's to Brad and Rachel!  Enjoy!

Ridge Point Father Daughter Dance 2013

For the 3rd year, I've been HONORED to shoot my church's Father daughter dance.  I can't help but smile as I see all the 'big men' in our church dress up and take their precious little daughter's out for a night on the town... or so to speak.  The little girls get all glitzed and glamoured up, with their finest of princess dresses, crowns and curls.  The men wear some pink and spend the evening chasing down their dates, who have either too much energy or a sugar high... most had both.  It really was a blessing to see.  I absolutely loved it.  

As I may have been a little 'star-struck' to get to photograph our pastor Toran Scott with his little princess, I forgot to relay an important message to him from my husband.... He says, 'You rock'...  Hope Toran finds that someday.  With a church of 2500+, we don't all get to really "know" our pastor.

Lee & Jamie : 2.2.2013

Lee and Jamie's wedding day started with a beautiful freshly fallen snow accumulation, and I LOVE FLUFFY SNOW!!!  I know it's freezing cold, and not all that fun, but it's gorgeous!  Well, this was quite a milestone wedding for me..... after co-shooting 75+ weddings, this was my first wedding going solo.  David came as my assistant this time instead of my second shooter.   

Lee and Jamie were a great couple for my first wedding of 2013, and I'm excited for this year as it's going to provide many more weddings then we shot in 2012.  Most of which I'll be doing solo after 7 years of co-shooting with my amazing husband.  It's just time for me to branch out on my own.   Enjoy a few teasers from their big day!
