Paul & Brittany : Engagement

Paul & Brittany are an adorable couple that we met at Paul's brother's wedding last August. Anywho, we followed them around on Paul's family farm, and were able to get some photos with some cows down the road as well. I'm not so sure about cows, they are kinda scary animals to me, but Paul just loves them. Here are some teasers from their engagement shoot. This couple will be wed in December 2009! Thanks guys!

Kristin Baron : Senior

Kristin Baron is one sweetie you don't have to ask twice to smile. It was quite difficult to try to get a serious face out of her and that usually ended in a burst of giggles. :) The super cool thing about Kristin is she plays the organ! How many young women do you know who actually play the organ? Her piano skills are so amazing, we had her play (a difficult piece she chose) while looking at us, and then when she finished, she said, "oops, that was in the wrong key." With a smile. Bryan & Kaylin : Wedding!

This couple has been TOO good to us, and it cannot go un-noticed. Bryan & Kaylin found us at a bridal show last September, and signed on with us about a week later. Before we did their engagement shoot, we had signed on 2 other weddings that they had referred us for! (Keep in mind, this is still before we ever took a single photo of them) After their shoot, more came our way because of them and their kind words about our work. Now the couples they referred us to are doing the same thing, and making an exponential effect on our number of contracted weddings. We are getting MANY calls from couples saying that a friend of a friend of someone who saw the Van Dyke wedding referred them to us for wedding photography. We are soooooo grateful for this amazing couple and their loyalty to giving us a chance in the wedding world, and thanks to them, and others like them, our goal of 5 weddings for the 2009 year, turned into 25 contracted weddings for 2009! (Not to mention 2010 is booking faster than we ever expected it could!)

Thanks soooooo much Kaylin & Bryan for everything you've done for us, and we hope we can return the favor by giving you an amazing photo collection to remember your wedding day by! God Bless your marriage, and have a great Honeymoon in Maui!!!!! Joel & Michelle : Wedding!

Only a few rain drops fell on the heavy rain forecasted day for Joel & Michelle's wedding. The sky made for some excellent photos! They were married at First Reformed in Zeeland, MI. The reception was held at the Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville, MI.

Joe Geenen : Senior

This strapping young man is Joe Geenen. This will embarrass him greatly, but I used to babysit him when he was just a little Joe :) He and his 2 sister's would tie my hair up in paper towel rolls and beads when the girls would force Joe to play salon. I'd have knots in my hair for days afterwards and shreds of toilet paper in my hair! We all had a great laugh about that during his shoot. Jacob Lambers : Senior

Jake is the oldest of 3 boys, and is venturing into the Senior world, which means.... Senior photos! His best friend was a rep for us, Joe Geenen, and they both play tennis together. Nick Petroelje : Senior

Nick's home has a gorgeous view of Kollen Park, right on the water. Complete with a large boat and dock, we hung around his home to get his senior photos. He was great! His first clothes choice would have been my favorite first choice as well. A casual cool plaid shirt, jeans and barefoot. Nick is on the Holland Christian Football team, and is already practicing hard for the upcoming season.
