Nikki : 2014

Nikki is a girl with a plan.  This girl was more organized with her photo shoot, than I am at any given wedding!  She had a vision for her session and we pumped it out laughing most of the way.  She's an amazing actress, and I had to direct her very little through each of the 'sets'.  It was great ;)  She decided on Felt Mansion, and it was beautiful!  It was sadly my first time there, but it certainly won't be my last. The grounds are huge and gorgeous!  Enjoy a few of Nikki!

Mallory : Miracle

Precious little Mallory is the first baby girl for my BFF!  I was so excited for them!  We both have 2 boys and a girl and fairly close in age too.  :)  Their boys were really great for their part of the photo shoot.... I was expecting them to be too energetic or goofy, but was really surprised we had them done, out and playing after about 10 minutes after they arrived!   I wish I had one like these when my little girl was born, but my boys were a little younger and a LOT less cooperative....  After about 30 minutes, Mallory slept through all the poses as we went.  It was great to see them all again, and see their precious new addition!  Thanks guys!

Anderson : Family Love

I love family sessions with small kids.... why?  Because they are predictably unpredictable, and a super fun challenge.  Kids can be so much fun.  There's meltdowns, shy looks, quick smiles, goofiness, and innocent comments.  This is a family from Holland, and I went to school with Brooke.  I absolutely love getting to know the spouses and kids of my past school mates.  It's kind of a great confirmation that we all survived High school and have moved on into great responsible and mature lives :)  LOL!  I think I just want THEM all to know that I finally have!  LOL!  Anyway, It's great to see how the Lord blesses each family, and how each family values their blessings.

Chad & Jessica : 9.21.13

What a gorgeous day ONCE AGAIN, for a great wedding.   I have been so blessed with amazing weather all summer for weddings this year!  Jessica was absolutely stunning in her wedding dress.  It was a great day to watch family and friends celebrate their marriage.  I was so excited that Jim Liske was the pastor for their wedding.  It's a little weird being from such a big church, because I found out only days before their wedding that we all attended the same church.... possibly the same service!  Crazy.  I had never met them before.   Well, I'm glad I have now, because they were a delightful couple. :)  Enjoy a few teasers!

Willem & Tycho : Brothers

Meet Willem and Tycho.  These are my cousin's little boys, and have to be the most adorable little boys ever!   Like most kid sessions, we did this at a fast paced run and with bribes and threats.  (I'm so glad to see that my children aren't the only ones.) LOL!  My cousin (in-law) drove up from Kalamazoo for this, and it was fun to chat about school ideas and the boys sleeping habits.  I always see my cousin's and their families as 'Perfect little dutch families' and its so nice to hear that they struggle with some of the same problems we do.  LOL!  Enjoy a few of Willem and Tycho!
