Scott : 2016

This kid seriously should take over our world.... He's smart, athletic, hard working, noble, wise, good natured, hilarious, humble, helpful, cares for the planet, and his smile is contagious.   Scott rocked his session, even while getting bit by mosquitoes, while in a Michigan heat wave, and waiting for me to fumble with my flashes and equipment.  (someday I'll streamline it,.... I hope!)

Keath : Family Love

The Keath Family has grown again!  They added little Addi to their family and she is such a perfect little thing!  Big sisters are crazy about her and did great for their family session.  After an hour drive in the evening hours, these kiddos all did fantastic!  Enjoy a few teasers of this beautiful family!

Mikaela : 2016

Photo shoot weather has really been in my favor lately!  Don't get me wrong, I still have my reschedules from weather, but when it's good... it's REALLY GOOD! 

Mikaela will be graduation from Holland Christian, class of 2016.  Right off the bat, she told me she didn't consider herself photogenic..... Wow... I totally beg to disagree!  She had the model look down, had all the coolest outfits, and was totally FUN!!!  Enjoy some teasers of Mikaela's senior session.  There's still a few fall openings for senior sessions if you're looking! ;)

 

Adventures with the Wacky Williams : Fishing

Every little boy (and William's daughter) dreams up a chance to go fishing.  My kiddos all LOVE it!  The catch and release pond at a nearby outdoor nature center is quite the reward!  Well, as a parent, I realize the fun and excited, but also see the anxiety and dangers involved... it's always a fear that one will fall out, or get a hook in the eye or something nasty.... Well, building on that fear, came this idea.  Some friends of ours have a pond and small fishing boat and when I told them about this idea, they volunteered their time, property, and boat for us to do this shoot.  (THANK YOU!)  It didn't take too long, even with uncooperative children, to get this shot.  Fun fun fun!  Enjoy some of our summer adventures!

Matt & Faith : Engaged

The super hot and muggy evening didn't stop Matt and Faith from driving about an hour for their engagement session at the Felt Mansion.  They were fantastic and I had a ton of fun returning to the mansion for photos!  The cool thing about the Felt is the variety.  It can look like we've been transported to the 1920's or look like we're on a wooded trail.... or in the middle of a farm or field!  They totally rocked this session and I'm excited to shoot their wedding this October!  Congrats guys!
