Beautiful New View

Waking to a new sunrise was beautiful! Everything is so different out here! We can SEE the Sunrise and sunset.... The stars are so bright and so many more can be seen without all the light pollution of the city! There are NO traffic sounds at night.... We don't miss the 4-6 ambulances per night rushing by, or the 'cool' teens blaring their rap music at 1 am. :) I'm sure many new experiences will come this year as we adjust to this lifestyle :)

Merry Christmas!!!!

Merry Christmas!!!! I can't believe it's Jesus' birthday again! We celebrated Christmas with my family on Christmas eve, and the boys had an overload of spoiling, and fun and food! I am sooooo thankful that now we have internet again, a phone line again, and our new van is working out well for our family needs. Sadly, it's the perfect vehicle :( LOL! Enjoy the day with friends and family. Keeping in your thoughts and prayers all those not as fortunate as you are!!!! (think about that when you get a gift you didn't want.....)



We will be keeping our close family in mind, as our Uncle Stan gets to celebrate Jesus' Birthday with him in heaven this morning. We can't wait to see you again, so you can tease us there, and pinch our noses and tickle us to tears there. Love you!

Heads up

So, I know I'm behind on my blogposts.... but here's why:

-We Moved to our farm house on Wednesday! We can't find anything and hope to unpack next week
-2 Weddings over the weekend... We will be processing them on a timely manner :)
-No phone until Jan. 1
-No Internet until ???? :( We are Dependent on our satellite provider.....who can't get to us for a while
-My truck finally died, and we are now van owners... trying to adjust to that.

However, even through all the rough bumps, we all have each other and are looking forward to Christmas with the boys!

Praise the Lord for he is good! His blessings endure forever!

Please be patient for us to return your e-mails and calls. If you have to speak with us right away, you can try David's cell phone until our phone line gets connected. So sorry for the inconvenience.

Otherwise, I can check e-mail once a day at free wifi places or at a friends house. Thanks!

Move in!

So, our crazy chaotic life is hopefully closing in on moving day into our new farm house!!! My blog and e-mails have been neglected...(sorry) and my kids napping schedules are all messed up, but our house is almost ready!!!! Brad & Jamie : Wedding

We seriously get the most beautiful brides!!!! Jamie is gorgeous! These two were fun and relaxed on their big day a couple weeks ago... It rained, and they still let us take them outside for some pictures!!!! Totally a photographers dream :) We had so much fun outside, that only the cold brought us back to the church :) They were married downtown Zeeland, MI. Enjoy the teasers!!!!

A Beautiful Glow

I LOVE the holidays!!!! I love the traditions, the smells, the food.... my family has always been together for the holidays, and now that I'm married and raising my own family, it's something I've really come to appreciate: Being together. We rarely all get along, but just playing games and watching movies together are some of the best memories. Each year, I almost get depressed since my expectations are so high. This year, hardly anyone went to get real Christmas trees, and that was a bummer, and then the decorating of the tree shrunk down to just Zeke, me and my mom :(. I hope I can start some fun traditions for my boys since we are all growing up and starting our own traditions outside the family. I just love the dark room with a tree lit up. It gives the most beautiful glow!

Bonzelaar : Family

Here's a beautiful family! The Bonzelaar family got together for Thanksgiving this year, and by special request, we were asked to photograph the family. We knew this would not be our style, and shooting inside someone else's house was a little different for us, but Mr. Bonzelaar is a good friend of my dad's and gave my dad a call the other day. He told my dad that he had a problem.... my dad asked him how he can help. Mr. Bonzelaar said there was nothing my dad could help with. He was found to have a cancer tumor on his brain and his time would be short here. He asked my dad to see if we could supply his family with a couple family images. Of course we could!!!!! Mr. Bonzelaar is in good spirits and no pain, so that is a blessing. Enjoy a few images from his beautiful growing family :)

Trick-or-tree time!!!!

Trick-or-trees.... that's what we went to cut down.... at least, that's what Ezekiel, our son would tell you. He's working on his speech and it's come a long way in the past 6 months.... however, 'christmas' is still a tough word.... so.... instead of 'Christmas' trees... we picked out our trick-or-tree. It was a good cold time with the family.... The family tradition used to be my grandparents, 4 aunts and uncles, 8 cousins and immediate family... We've now shrunk to my mom and dad, one aunt and uncle, 2 cousins and us. Darn those fake Christmas trees!!!! Well, Ours is a REAL tree, and we won't have it any other way!!!! :) Check out the fun you miss if you are a fake tree kinda family. LOL!
