We are David and Cara Williams of Holland, MI. We are blessed with 3 beautiful children, and our own home in a country setting. Our talents come from the One and only God, who we submit all of ourselves to. Our passion within God's will, is to create timeless images of fine art from your life and blessed events.
We LOVE life and Photography Art. Photoshop is our favorite computer program of all time, and we continue to educate ourselves with it's features.
Our Style is always developing. We love to continue our photography education by attending conventions all over the U.S. and through blogs and workshops. Some of our favorites are the WPPI, photovision DVD subscription, Rangefinder Magazine and Professional Photographer Magazine. We have been members of the PPA since 2008.
Our favorite photographers to learn from and be inspired by are Jerry Ghionis and Cliff Mautner, McClanahan studios, Zach & Jody Gray, Kelly Ryden & Tracy Raver, as well as a few less famous and more local :)
HOW WE GOT STARTED:
David and Cara met in Sacramento, California, in 2004 while Cara
attended school there. David later moved to Michigan that year to start a life here.
We started Awakened Images Photography in 2006 to photograph event photography. We started with horse competitions, and were privileged to shoot the USA and Canadian Olympic teams in Kentucky and Michigan. When we decided to start a family, we chose to move towards wedding and small session photography. We've been doing weddings since 2008 and are loving it!
We started Wacky Williams Wednesdays in 2014 to document our children/family life while exercising our creativity.

Our faith is most important to us and we want to let the light of Jesus, our personal Savior, shine through us and our work. He is the most "real" thing we have ever experienced. We strive to raise our children, conduct our lives and run our business according to his example and instruction.
