Blystra : Sisters
This B-E-A-U-tiful group of sisters braved the winter storm warnings and came out to a winter wonderland for a photo shoot. It was so pretty out, and even though our fingers, toes, and noses were all frozen, they were full of holiday cheer and just the simple happiness of being together for the holidays. I've grown up knowing them all, and it's amazing to see where God's leading each of them as they all become adults. Maybe their mom could say differently, but I was so pleased with how they all genuinely love each other, and were full of smiles no matter how cold it was, or how odd they thought my poses might be. It was so serious fun! :) Thanks girls! It was fantastic to see you all again so soon after Katelyn's wedding! I hope you have a great holiday season and stay safe with your travels and your adventures into 2014!

Merry Christmas!
As we remember the reason for Christmas, we are thankful for a God who deemed us so valuable to him, that he would come to earth as a baby- to grow up for 33 years- to be the PERFECT sacrifice. Giving us the opportunity to meet the Father face-to-face for those who choose him. Without this special birthday, we'd all meet the same doom after our last breath here.

Hey all! I'm announcing the BIG sale for this year. This will be for all the session digitals with printing rights from any session before October 31, 2013. I've decided that holding images from 6+ years is using too much space on my drives and I'd like to free it up. We will only be guaranteeing to hold images for 6 months now, and have them in archives for 18 months. After that, we intend to reuse the space for our new sessions. Sale ends 12/31/2013

You had to have already placed your order from that session. If you failed to place an order from a session, you may not purchase that session with this deal.
Only 'small' sessions apply. Engagements, baby, child, family, senior, boudoir, maternity, events and pets. (Weddings are not 'small' sessions, so if you aren't buying a DVD of a wedding, your session will apply.)
The session you purchase will include ALL the original final images from that one session. If you made corrections or changes to the original collection, those will not be on your digital media purchase.
For most collections, you will receive the images via USB in the mail 5-7 days after your order. You may order through Awakened Images website.

Please specify the session you'd like in the "comment" area at the end of the purchase. If I don't know which you are describing, I WILL e-mail you to find out more specifically the session you mean. You won't just receive the wrong collection :)
Everything will be sized to print, where printing rights are involved. If you'd like your collection but have no intentions to print them, you can order the Facebook collections for a great deal cheaper. They are re-sized to a LOW resolution and can be viewed on a computer screen, but cannot be printed.

Aaron : 2 years old
Happy 2nd Birthday Aaron! This little guy really surprised me. I usually expect a lot of 'bad' behavior from 2 year olds and expect meltdowns, running and hearing a lot of 'No' from them, and this little guy had NONE of that. After he realized I wasn't a scary person, (others can debate that) he was a playful, fun and cooperative little guy! And what a smile he has! Melt my heart.... Enjoy the teasers!

Ella : 6 months
And Ella graces the blog once again! I saw her at 3 months old, and last week for a family session... she should be getting real familiar with my camera :) What a cutie she is.... a little shy to hand out smiles, but she's certainly not lacking in cuteness! It was fun to see the cute headbands and outfits her mommy picked out.... she seriously has amazing taste in outfits for Ella.... (I'm thinking she'd be a good studio wardrobe consultant! LOL!!!) I'll get to see this little one in a few more months, and I'm loving getting to watch her change and grow! Enjoy a few teasers!
