Molenhouse : Just Waiting

Here's a familiar couple... they've hit my blog probably 10+ times, and this time it's for their maternity!  I'm not a HUGE fan of maternity sessions, (not that I don't like them... I'd just rather be holding that little bundle of joy!!!) but Elyse actually texted me to book one.... I don't think she even asked me to do their wedding... we just did it.... lol!  I had a great time with their session... low stress, slow, and just whatever came to mind.  I usually have a plan for EVERY photo shoot... light structure, location, poses.... you get the picture.  Well, I didn't have that ready for them, and I'm impressed how I could just grab from my memory bank what worked and went with it.  

Elyse, you look fabulous, and Bob, (as always) you look charming with your tie and jacket!  Love your style.... except the shoes.... LOL! :)

Isla : Miracle

 Meet the beautiful little Isla.  She came over three weeks early and spent some time in the NICU, so I wasn't able to photograph her until 18 days old.   I was very impressed at how well she did in all the poses! Isla is the fourth child..... with 3 older brothers to protect her.  I had soooooo much fun with a little girl!  I've had so many little boys in the studio, that baby girls are really a treat for me :)  I get to haul out the bows, flowers, and pinks. Here's just a few of my favorites, cause I couldn't share them all.... LOL!

Alden : Miracle

Meet Alden.  He's the beautiful first born to our past wedding clients Dave and Ambrosia.  He was amazing for his session, sleeping great and letting me fuss over him :)  My kinda babe :) LOL.  Enjoy!  

 I can't believe how amazing Ambrosia looks... Not only is she beautiful, but 10 days after giving birth and she's back to her perfect delicate body.   JEALOUS......

 So cute!

Caitlin : a little sexy

What a fantastic girl to work with.  Caitlin found me through a google search and decided to take the plunge into a boudoir session, Awakened Images style.   She allowed me to post these images.

She was great, and I had a lot of fun getting to know her.... her past, her present and her future ambitions, goals, plans and much more.

Cousins : Smith Family

So cute!  This post had to wait until after Christmas since it was a gift, and now I finally get to post it!  What a great group.  This is my best friends family, and although I don't see them all that much as a big group, it felt like we had just hung out the day before.  They were great!  I can't get my 3 kids to do much, but I could get  all their's combined to do all the fun poses I wanted :)  Thanks guys!  It was a blast getting to see how your families are all growing :)

Happy Birthday Zeke! .....2 days late

Happy birthday to my 5 year old!!!!  I cannot believe how fast time has gone!  I suppose every parent says that, but I now understand what they mean when they say it.  5 years ago I was dealing with this terrible, colicky, miserable baby boy as my first child and pulling my hair out with frustration to keep him asleep or silent.  Now, today, I watch how wonderfully he helps his siblings and how sweet he can be when he helps with chores, and has started to learn how to walk and talk with God. 

 There is no sweeter thing then to hear you pray, Zeke.  Although many days are really tough, I'm so glad to have had 5 wonderful years with you, and am terrified to see you grow up, but also so very excited.  Love you my handsome buddy!

We did this session a few days before Zeke's Birthday.
