Rios : Family Love

5 years ago, we photographed Erika and Robert's wedding!  Their children were all part of their wedding, and now, 5 years later, they've added another to the family!  I can't believe how grown up all their kids are, and oh so gorgeous!  Erika's oldest was able to bring her Quincinera dress for a few shots, and she was just dazzling!  It was a blast at the beach with them on such a nice evening.  Thanks again for trusting us again with your photography needs :)

Wacky Williams Wednesday : Happy Anniversary to us!

8 years have really flown by!  The amazing love of my life said 'I Do' on a beautiful August day in my home church.  Now, seeing where God's taken us on this journey of marriage, I'm nothing by grateful!  Although in every relationship there comes struggles, I feel like we have grown together with more and more love each year.  Our family keeps growing and we keep following God's plan to raise up godly children who know the Lord as their savior.  Happy anniversary David!  I love you sooooooo much!

Kyle : 2015

Kyle was a great senior guy to work with.  He was soooo tall, I felt like a little dwarf.... course, it doesn't take much to beat my 5'3".... Kyle is a cross country runner, and looking forward to senior year at Zeeland.  I was excited to hear he may pursue media production of some sorts... possibly at GVSU.  I'm sure the class/curriculum has changed a bit since I was there, but still, I don't meet too many people interested in that while staying in Michigan.  Kyle is the second from his family to use Awakened images for senior photos, and it was great to catch up a bit with his mom while she helped carry all the bags while we hiked around downtown Holland.  Thanks guys!  Enjoy a few teasers!

Makayla : 2015

What fun to follow Makayla around her own yard for senior photos... what a great location!  There were so many cool spots and the lighting couldn't have been better!!!  Being at home made clothes changes nice and easy, and we got to throw in whatever we felt!  A dog, her horse, her brother!!!!  LOL!  I've known Makayla and her family for a quite a few years but as their horse-shoer... Hayes : Family Love

This family is really starting to feel a bit like my own... they treat me like family, and I've gotten a chance to know some of them quite well over the last 12 years or so.  I remember holding one of the young boys when he was an infant while we were on a camping trip together.... It's amazing how much they have grown!  Enjoy a few teasers of their recent family session!

 

Aubree : 2015

What wonderful Michigan nights we've been having!  They are a photographers best friend!  I was honored to get the call from my aunt to do my cousin Aubree's Senior photos.  I actually was a little shocked to realize that she was already a senior!  This couldn't be the little girl I used to give riding lessons to, could it!? Yup,... Time kept going, and Aubree has grown to be a beautiful young lady.  At first, she warned me that she didn't think she was photogenic.... After a few shots, I knew that wasn't true... AT ALL!  I had the best time, getting the best model-looking poses and expressions!  It was a blast!!!!  See for yourself and enjoy Aubree's teasers!

Brooklyn : 2015

Brooklyn is the 3rd in her family to get their photos done by Awakened Images!  What a beautiful girl she is... and super tough!  She's an outdoors girl with no fear of dirt and critters :)  LOL! We took her photos at her family farm in West Olive.  Enjoy some teasers!

Phil & Amy : 7.26.2014

What a great day for a wedding.... again, blessed with a day where the heat wasn't too much, and we were spared from rain for Phil & Amy's outside wedding!  This couple was amazing!  They chose not to see each other before the ceremony, but had a private exchange of letters around the edge of a door... it was the most precious moment ever!  We had a great boat ride from the ceremony on the lawn of a beach house, to the reception on Lake Macatawa at the Piper.  I'm so happy for the lives of Phil and Amy and how God brought them together.... They have shown great perseverance already in their relationship, I'm sure they are meant to do great things together, and will continue to persevere as long as they both shall live :)  Enjoy some teasers!
