Rodney & Kara : 08.22.2015

August 22, 2015 was a PERFECT wedding day!  We started with getting ready shots at the couple's homes with their families.  The details were beautiful, the Bride, STUNNING, and yes, Rodney, oh so handsome :)   We learned very quickly how amazing this family was.... their hearts go out to help the 'orphan and the widow' as the Bible asks.  Their families a beautiful mix of adoption making harmony with their biological families.  It was inspiring!   

Rodney and Kara were an amazing... and easy couple to work with... they just wanted to enjoy their wedding day... and that they did!  A boating expedition, some cruising in the limo, and yard games throughout the reception.  What. A. Blast.   Thank you guys trusting us to be part of your big day.  It was beautiful!

Dykema : Family Love

Proof that a 'last-minute' session CAN happen!  This family called for a session and I sadly had to turn them down.  Then, I had a session cancel, and with a quick text, offered this family that session time, and they took it.  It may have been a little rushed, but outside of the pre-planning, it was a wonderful family session with FANTASTIC weather and great company! :)  Their kids had all the personality it takes for a fun photo shoot, and it was great to get to know them.  Thanks guys!!!!

Wacky Williams : 9 Years

9 years!  I've been married 9 years TODAY!  Now that's WACKY!  I love it!  My hubby is better to me than I deserve, more loving with each year, and more appreciated than ever!  I love our adventures, our endeavors, our fantasys, our plans, our family, our business, our home, our relationships.... and the list really goes on and on!   9 years ago, we gave each other matching rings, and although it's no bling, it's the best ring ever.  We are a MATCH.  I found this idea on pinterest, and felt it a great choice for an anniversary post.

Oudshoorn Family

Family photography has been a popular choice again this year, and here's another family I've known a while :)  After shooting Craig and Melissa's wedding back in 2009, I've gotten to watch their family grow to include a nephew and their own little Aiden!  Careful, they are both heart melters!  Enjoy a few teasers of this beautiful family!
