I totally fell in love with canning a few years back. We started homesteading a few years back (primarily living off our farm's produce and livestock) and really love it. We are independent, we work hard, and we stay warm from the fruits of our labor and eat well, with the fruits of our labor. The kids help and are learning so much about where food comes from and how to respect the animals, and care for them. We raise Chickens for meat and eggs, turkeys, cows for milk and meat, Just about every fruit bearing tree and garden vegetable. We usually raise pigs too, but took a year off after flipping the house we recently sold. This photo is my favorite thing... canned kiddos...LOL! In all seriousness... Zeke took this photo with the 'big camera'. I was proud of him for not dropping it, and actually getting the can in focus. I might make a photographer out of them yet :) Enjoy!

Bakker : Family Love
The Bakker family is the sweetest family EVER! Their little kiddos are adorable and so wonderfully natured! Weston was a HUGE help to his baby sister, and so kind. Rebekah dressed her kids sooooo cool! I had to share Emerson's little outfit from www.thewildpurple.com It was so cute! They came before the forecasted rain storms that day, and we got a few awesome shots outside. Enjoy a few teasers of the Bakker Family!

Michael & India : 05.20.2016
Michael and India's wedding day was BEAUTIFUL! The weather, the company, the details.... all perfection! I didn't have the chance to photograph this couple's engagement, so I didn't know how they'd respond to each other in front of the camera, but they totally rocked it! Their bridal party was hilarious and fun to work with. They had a beautiful ceremony at the famous Dimnent Chapel on Hope College's Campus in Holland Michigan, and a dessert reception at their home church, Ridge Point. It all had a vintage theme through out the day, which made it all the more beautiful! Enjoy a few pictures of their wedding day!
