Wow! Thanks to everyone for a great day full of fun and competition! We had 15 schools from 2 districts, with 91 total riders for the biggest Jr. MIHA event in Holland yet!!!! I was coach of the Zeeland Christian, and Holland Christian teams, and responsible for 8 riders. Classes were larger than life!!!! (45+ riders in most classes!!!) And we still got a few placings! Great job girls! We had no serious injuries, no fall offs, and a great sportsmanship attitude coming from everyone on the grounds. All the nerves are now calmed, and the stress is back down to a comfortable level :)
In the morning, it rained and we were fortunate that the Van Rhees took a canopy pop up tent to hide under! Mrs. Teune brought all the snacks and drinks for the girls, Lisa Mckellips made sure that showmanship went smooth and handled all the misc. coaching tips throughout the day, and everyone helped EVERYONE get ready for their classes. Later, the day got hot and breezy, so it was actually about a perfect horse show day. Here are some great pictures from the event.... You all look great!
