Rath : Maternity

 Baby #3 is almost here!  This mama is baking her 3rd little boy, and while carrying her little guy, she looks amazing!  It was a snowy, blizzard day, and she wanted some snow shots, so we made it happen.... Her dress is the equivalent to a bathing suite, and it's -4 degrees with the wind for these few outdoor shots.... Yes, I think babies have made her a little crazy :)  But oh how cute they are!  Elias and Isaiah will be joined by their accomplice in trouble-making in a few weeks :)  Enjoy a few teasers of Jen's Maternity session!

Ellery : 1 Year!

Ellery turned 1 this past fall, and she and her sister filled my studio with smiles! What a gem!  Watching these sisters grow has been such a joy!  I've had both of them since infants, and it's so fun to see the similarities and differences between them!  Enjoy a few teasers of Ellery!

Dan & Kaycie : Waiting

Dan & Kaycie are just the cutest!  I met them for the first time for their maternity session.  Kaycie is feeling great and they are both super excited to meet their little girl one month!   That perfect baby bump, great weather, and awesome outfits made this session BEAUTIFUL!   We caught the sunset during their session, and I had a chance to play around with a little bit of flash.  Enjoy a few teasers of this beautiful couple awaiting their little girl!  Thanks guys!

Keath Family : Maternity session

Yay!  This family will be adding a son to their family this fall!  After 3 darling girls, they are adding some blue to their family colors.  As a farming family, it's only proper to announce this with a tractor.... (I've seen their real tractors, and they are like on steroids.... with tires taller then me)  

They made the long drive on a very HOT day here in West Michigan, so we had to have some fun at the end, playing in the river.  Enjoy a few teasers of the Keath Family Maternity session!  I can't wait to meet that little guy this September!

Hurst : Waiting

Tis the season for babies!!!  I think I have 4 babies to photograph that are due before Christmas!  It's going to be an exciting holiday!  My cousin's family adds another boy just after Thanksgiving.  They made the drive up from Kalamazoo for their photoshoot at the Felt.... Probably my last session of the year at that wonderful place.  (sigh)... Enjoy a few teasers as I wait for little boy's arrival!

Brandon & Jen : Waiting

Congrats to this growing little family!!!!  Brandon and Jen will be welcoming their sweet little baby boy first thing next year... or maybe yet this year! :)  This couple has really had a rough strike in life since I've known them.  We met at a wedding, then photographed their wedding not long after.  Jen is also a talented photographer, running J. Elizabeth Photography in Muskegon, MI.  I've watched them struggle, suffer persecution, saddened by infertility, and now laugh in the beautiful growth of their baby.  Through it all, they remain faithful to God and to serving him with a strengthened and renewed faith.  

On a cold, but sunny November day, we captured their maternity session near their home in Muskegon.  It's fun seeing new shooting grounds and we certainly put a bunch of it to good use!  Enjoy their teasers!
