Karl & Jessica : Wedding

In beautiful Grand Haven, Michigan, the Holiday Inn hosted Karl & Jessica's wedding. The day was perfect. The girls arrived at Pompa Do's for hair styles and make up, and we met the men at the hotel where they relaxed to a baseball game on tv in their hotel room. Bob & Karrie : Engagement

Fikse : Family

Arriving at the Clearbrook Country Club in Saugatuck, MI, David and I followed our normal routine of scouting the area for the best photogenic location. We came across these beautiful willows on a small pond, and rounded up the 18 from the Fikse family to hike out to the golf course to use this venue. It was 'slightly' on the fairway, so occasionally we all had to step aside and keep 9 children quiet while the golfers found their ball and sent it on to the green out of sight. The kids were great, and after a few formals, everyone let us loose with our creativity! It was great! Here are a few of my favorites of the 'less-traditional' Awakened Images Style :)

Sarah Kuipers : Senior

A big thanks to Sarah for her preparation for her Senior photoshoot! She had with her, 3 boxes of books as her props in the studio. They were all sub-divided by category, and held together with yarn. Once we put the books in place, we snipped the yarn and at the end, just piled all the books back in the boxes in no particular order :) (Sorry for unorganizing your collection Sarah!) We then went downtown Holland, and had some fun! Here are some of my favorites. :)
