John & Katelyn's wedding was predicted rain, rain, rain.  We were so fortunate... the rain held off and only came while we had to be inside anyways!   They were married at a church in Grand Rapids and enjoyed a rustic, semi-casual reception at a park in Caledonia.  The bridesmaids were made up of all the bride's sisters, which made for REALLY easy family photos :)  What a great group though.  Enjoy a few teasers of John and Katelyn's wedding!

During the month of November, Awakened Images will be introducing a few specials and sales as I clean up the office to prepare for all that's anticipated for 2014!  

All specials will expire December 31.  

Introduced this week are pre-purchased session gift certificates!  I will be offering several different sessions which can be purchased as a Holiday gift, or used for yourself sometime in 2014.

To use, simply e-mail or call me to set up your session and mail your Gift Certificate with your scheduling forms.  Your session can be scheduled for use next spring, summer, or fall.  All sessions are by appointment only, no walk-ins.

Kyle & Jana : Engaged!

Kyle & Jana have got to be one of the most kind and compassionate couple I have ever met.  Hearing their approach to their careers, their life and to love, I've noticed a genuine gentleness about them.... They really WANT to help people and make a difference.

We started their engagement session at the beautiful Felt Mansion in Saugatuck.  It was SUPER cold, and we toughed it out, walking and carrying props around :)  Then we headed over to Laketown beach, for some self induced torture... I mean stair climbing... LOL!  It was a blast!  We were clear between to storms and the sunset was just visible between the storms.  It was so cool!

I am so excited to get to see them dressed their best to commit their lives to each other next summer!  Congrats on your engagement guys!
