My kids have been doing a pretty good job to help with the simply, light-weight chores around our little hobby farm. I had to make this post, because I fear for our eggs every day the kids collect them. They often fight over who gets to check the nests, and then trip or drop eggs on the way back to the house. We are probably down about 15 dozen since the little ones started helping. I figure if eggs got nervous, they'd look like this :)
Our chickens tend to lay close to 16 eggs a day, and its funny how only about 10 make it in the house for cleaning and consumption each day.... hmmm.
