Jake & Stacie : Engaged

Congrats to Jake and Stacie on their engagement!  

This couple drove in from Ann Arbor for their session and our first attempt was cancelled due to weather!!!!!  BUT, I was able to squeeze them in still on that weekend, right before they were headed back to the East side of the state.  They will be getting married next May in the west Michigan area and it's going to be a blast!  

We've had so many couples this year that really just like to have fun!  My kind of sessions :)  You'll see from this couple's teasers that their wedding will be a fun and enjoyable day for EVERYONE!  Can't wait!  Enjoy some teasers!

Wacky Williams Wednesday : Fret hopping

What fun, to make music while being rowdy!  Here's a few fret hoppers that seem to choose the LOUDEST activities out there....

Barense : Family Love

The Barense family was a session with their grandkiddos.  I'm noticing a trend of more and more Grandparents/grandkids sessions over the past 2 years... And they are loads of fun!!!  Some of these kiddos knew my routine from a previous session, so really I only had to really instruct 2 little ones during this session.  The evening was perfect light, and great attitudes, so of course it went fantastic!  Enjoy a few teasers!!

Pratt : Family Love

Here's a family I've seen a few times.... almost every summer weekend since the beginning of time.  This is my Aunt, Uncle and cousins.  

My 'little' cousin Hannah is my most trusted 'nanny' for my wild children... She has a way of keeping them under control... I need to take tips from her!  So when I'm shooting a wedding, my kids are enjoying cousin Hannah!  

This whole family has attending Hope College, and my cousin Cameron is still there.  So naturally, we had to do their family photos at Hope.  AND.... they were married at the church behind them, maybe a hundred years ago or so... :)  LOL!  Kidding!  

My aunt gives the best tips for teaching children, and since she's been a successful teacher at the 2nd grade level, I know I can trust her expertise.... My uncle was a Lifetouch photographer for about 9 years while I was growing up, and he took my school picture when I was a fifth grader!  I guess the tables have turned and 20 years later I'm photographing them!  LOL!  Cameron is a dramatic character and amazing actor.  I'm sure if he keeps it up, he'd end up on Broadway ;)
