Logan : Miracle

Here's a beautiful baby boy, born to one of our past wedding clients!  After a challenging labor, Bob and Karrie welcomed this precious miracle on his due date :)  So far, Logan has been a great baby.  Karrie is going to be an amazing mother, and I can't believe how helpful Bob was, even for the photo shoot... I can only imagine how helpful he will be at home as a daddy.  Enjoy a few teasers of this perfect little man!

Drew : Hamilton 2013

Drew made it through his session and didn't even act like it was torture! :) LOL.  He tried everything I asked, was super easy going.  He's a defense player on the Hamilton Football team and is considering engineering after High School, possibly at Calvin College.  I met his mom when our little Lex needed speech therapy and different evaluations.  She was one to come see where he was at in his learning.  It's hard to hide the fact that we are photographers when our home is LOADED with fairly large photos on all the walls.  :)

Chris & Amber : Wedding

Amber and Chris were so sweet!  The day was ABSOLUTELY beautiful, and I've never been at a more organized wedding.  Amber is an organized person, both for her work and for her personal life, and it certainly paid off!  I was fortunate to know Amber for a LONG time, since her mom and my mom are super good friends.  We always joked about girls vs. boys, because between my mom, her mom and their other great mutual friend, there are 11 girls, 0 boys.  You can just imagine how those play dates went! 

Throughout their wedding day, I felt so happy for Amber as I'd see her amazing Groom treat her like gold.  He is an amazing young man and we look forward to seeing them grow together for life with God's help.  Congrats guys!!!  Enjoy her slideshow for a limited time Here

Kelly : Zeeland East 2013

I LOVE horses, and have become known for a fun photo session with girls crazy about their horse.  Kelly came to me with a different request.  Her love is for her cows.  Her family owns a dairy farm in the Zeeland area, and Kelly shows, works with, and enjoys the companionship of the cows.   We photographed her with her friend, Nadia.  I was timid at first, as I'm a little scared of cows to be honest, but Nadia was the biggest softy ever, and was very friendly to work with.  Kelly is quite an easy going girl, and probably more of a tom boy, but she sure looks like a gorgeous model here!  Here are a few teasers of Kelly.   Enjoy!! :)

Cadence : 9 months!

My little Cadence is 9 Months old!  Crazy!  I love her so much, and everyday see more and more how she's such a precious gift from God.  She LOVES her brothers, and likes to wrestle with Lex.  She has 6 teeth now, and is standing on her own.  (yes, without holding the couch... at 9 months old!!!! yikes!)  My blog has been so busy with photoshoots this August that I feel it's time to post my little gems in between some of the amazing students I've been able to work with.
