This family came from Lansing for their family photo shoot.  We scheduled months back and had hoped for good weather, but we got a LOT of rain, so we kept to the studio.  Their precious children are absolutely ADORABLE!  We captured their son at 7 months old, and now their daughter is 6 months old and we went through several of the same ideas we had done to match their son's images.  The family was accompanied by a couple whose wedding we photographed back in 2009!  It was fun getting to play around in the studio again, especially with little kiddos!  Enjoy a few of my favorites!

Russcher : Family Love

What a fun group here, and oh to have a baby to photograph again!!!!  I have several children's sessions I'll be doing this fall, but after a long High school Senior season, I'm sooooo happy to have a little baby to photograph!  You may recognize this family from Christine and Peter's Wedding last July!  It's great seeing them and their family again, as it's growing with the newest little member, Braeden. (Christine and Peter's Nephew)  He's a super happy baby, and the weather held out long enough for us to get the photoshoot completed with the high winds, and a threat of rain in the forecast.   The fall color was well worth it! Thanks guys!  I loved seeing how the Lord is blessing your families!

Walcott : Family Love

Well, this is one of the sweetest families I've met :)  I've known them since I was probably in 3rd grade, but never 'KNEW' them....  We've even spent several New Years Eve celebrations together and I still didn't 'KNOW' them.  But spending a couple of hours on their farm in Hesperia/Walkerville area, I finally saw how they interacted and loved each other, and I was impressed!  I'm sure they could have been putting on a respectful front, but their manners and respect came so second nature, that I'm convinced they've just been raised well ;)  The kids were fun even in their jokes and pranks.  The whole family enjoyed each other, and the brothers care deeply for their sister.  Their family farms A LOT of land up there, and the boys are driving combines, and HUGE tractors like it's a bicycle.  It's such a beautiful and peaceful place... at first I was a little distraught over having to drive so far alone for a photo shoot, but in the end, I really enjoyed myself and the drive there seeing the beautiful colors in all the trees.  I had time to bite off the rest of my nails while talking to God after the radio wouldn't get JQ99 anymore. :)  Anyway, enough about that, cause I know you just skip my novels and look at the pictures anyway!  Caught ya!  LOL!  Enjoy!

Sheldon : Zeeland East 2013

What a blast this session was.  I traveled the beautiful drive to Hesperia, MI where Sheldon's family owns a HUGE farm.  He wanted his photos taken with all the farm stuff.... we had to keep reminding him that this session was for HIS senior photos, and not to document all their trucks and tractors!  Sheldon kept the whole family laughing as we combined a family session in while I was up there.  We drove around a bit of their farm finding great spots to shoot at.

  It was a perfect day for photos!  Beautiful sunny, blue skies and perfect temperatures!  Thanks for the great time!!!  Enjoy a few teasers and keep watching for their family session to post next :)
