Tim & Heather: Portraits

David and I got the opportunity to shoot Tim, Heather and their dog Lexi in the gorgeous fall coloring of Morningside drive Park. Lexi is an amazingly photogenic dog! We had a great day for the shoot, and here are some of the shots that struck my fancy! Thanks you guys!

Nature Outing!

David and I woke up Saturday and decided to pack up to get some shots of the beautiful sunrise. David bought me a new camera, and I just had to test it out ;) God blessed us with the opportunity to get the new Nikon D3... the same one that David has, but it is so superior to our other cameras, that when we do weddings, I can't compete with my little cameras against his :( We took Zeke and drove to the ridgepoint trails. Tootsie came along of course :) The sun made it's appearance around 8:00am, and these are some of our favorites. David handled most of the shots, while I kept Zeke and Tootsie entertained and thawed. Here is a way for us to really appreciate photography in a way that I feel God has intended for us. To see the Sunrise slowly change the color on the wispy clouds, and see the deer beds in the grass, was truely inspiring. I am guessing that we will be doing a little more of this style in our free time :)

Fikse: Family photos

Here is the Fikse family with their horses. 5 horses, 5 humans, a dog, and the ever growing dusk. We had our work cut out for us :) We were still able to get some GREAT shots! Here's a few of my favorites.

Here's their 3 gorgeous children! Emma is already in 6th grade! We might have to sign on to have them model for our work. ;)

Corporate Headshots

We have begun dabbleing in different areas of photography lately, including nature, maternity, and corporate. This post is for corporate headshots. We had a great time talking with our subjects about what they do in their jobs along with some fun casual talk. If you know of anyone needing some for themselves, send them our way. Ezekiel 9 months!!!

Here's our Handsome young man during his Tubby time. Ezekiel is almost 9 months old now! Time flies! He is crawling, laughing, trying to say Ma mamama...... you know. Typical baby stuff. He's still high energy, but in a happy way now. David and I will be getting some family photos of our small family this month. It's a busy October for us. Signing on many weddings, doing some family fall shoots, and a few others. Still having a great time with the photography and wishing for more opportunities! If you have any ideas for advertising and creativity, give us some insight on what you'd like to see more often. .....

Another sick day for little Zeke. Just having a hard time getting past all the illnesses he's aquired at daycare. No fun :( He still loves going outside though!
