Finally!!!! House flip listed

It's finally listed!  The flip project we bought on August 4, 2015 is ready to house a new family!  So, here's some specs about it, and then browse these photos of the new 5888 farm house!  This post will not have "before" photos
(I will list those in a different post after I have time to make one)

It is approx. a 1700 sq ft. home, built in the 1900's.  It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home.  (Lower bath has a shower, upper is HUGE, and has a soaker tub and 48" shower.)  there is a beautiful office off the living room, a breakfast nook and bar, formal dining room, and spacious living room.    It sits on about 5 acres in Manlius township, with a Holland address.  It heats on Natural gas and has well water.  There's a large 40x70 pole barn, a small corn crib and an older small 2 stall garage/workshop.   The home has had MANY face-lifts

including:

-new well
-new roof
-new insulation
-14 new windows
-new siding
-new driveway
-new main floor 3/4 bathroom
-new upstairs full bathroom
-new upstairs laundry
-new carpet and refinished original hardwood floors
-remodeled kitchen
-attached 1 stall garage
-perimeter fencing for livestock or horses
-new AWESOME-NESS throughout!

This would be a fantastic house for a farm loving family, or someone wanting some space.  Most of the perimeter is touching farm land and there's only one neighbor to it's west.  From the upstairs windows, you can see FOR MILES!  It's breathtaking.  The backyard, although needing some planting and care and personalized setup was made possible by the removal of run down buildings and dead trees/brush.  You can see it listed with

Mark Oegema and Vanessa Abar at Greenridge Realty.

You may e-mail me, or them for more information.

Wacky Williams : Bible Tenters

Our kids LOVE Bible stories... Lex has a children's Bible that he's been having us read a story a night and the whole book is almost done!  They also, (oddly) enjoy just us reading from the NIV.... sometimes I wonder if I should make some of the stories 'age appropriate' though.... They enjoy some of the most gory and graphic stories.  I found a picture that inspired me to create this one... of the kids staying up late with their flash lights to read 'JUST ONE MORE STORY'.... I thought it was so cute.  So, here they are... the late night Bible Reading tenters :)  LOVE THEM!

Matt & Heather : 2.27.2016

Matt & Heather are MARRIED!!!!  What an exciting day it was!  It turned out to be beautiful weather, (for February in Michigan) and loads of supportive friends and family were by their sides through out the day.

The New Salem Corn Maze bus drove them around to downtown Holland, where we had a cold, but quick start to photos, and then back to Bentheim for their ceremony.  It was a special service, lead by Dan Seaborn.  I love how he can so creatively personalize his talk to each Bride and Groom.  This was a one of a kind service, filled with tears and laughter.

After the service we had a great time at the reception at the Trestle Stop in Hamilton.... I got to experience my first PIE smashing for the groom.... yes, not Cake... well, he got that too... but then he got a pie.... twice!  He was such a great sport about it! (and Heather was too!!!! She got pie all in her hair!)   I was lucky to find a photography friend from church at the wedding, and she helped me photograph the bouquet and garter tosses, since they always go so fast!  LOL!  (thanks Katie!)

All in all, it was a beautiful day, filled with respect and honor for our Lord, and that makes a wedding day what it's meant to be.  Congrats Matt and Heather!  May God bless your marriage, and grow your love for each other every day!

Wacky Williams : Guitar Jail

Daddy's been playing guitar now quite a bit for our church band, (which actually is a pretty big accomplishment.... it's a big church, and he actually had to audition, to volunteer in the band....LOL!) and I know it takes a lot of time away from the family, but yet, David is totally passionate about worship, and volunteer.... So, it's a great fit!  I thought that this was a bit fitting and fun.... Maybe a little crazy, but where else can you safely put your children behind bars!  :)  LOL!  Enjoy my Wacky Williams!
