Maddie : 12 months
This little girls EYES!!!! Wowzers! I can't get over her! Those eye lashes!!! Her parents are in for some serious trouble, cause she's going to bat those lashes and get her way every time! Oh, sweet little Maddie. Maddie, and her brother Logan were super models for me at her session. Logan is the perfect, patient, sweet gentleman-brother, and Maddie is the independent princess. I had to laugh, because each time Maddie would push away from Logan, he'd roll his eyes, but keep his cool.... My kids would have let out a fit of frustration! What a little gentleman he's becoming. How wonderful for these two to have each other... besides, they are a rare find! Both kiddos have blue eyes, and their parents are both dark brown eyed folks! So crazy. Well, enjoy a few teasers of Maddie's 1 year session.

Isaiah : 6 months
Little Isaiah isn't so little anymore! I just can't get over how much a baby can grow in only 6 months! From the tiny little sleeping infant, to a ball of personality and some independent ability! Little Isaiah is pretty closely identical to his older brother Elias, who is no stranger to this blog. These folks make a good 1 hour drive each way to come to all their sessions... I'm humbled they keep coming! :) Enjoy a few teasers of this sweet and easy going little fella!

Wacky Williams : Romance ain't dead
There's been a big debate between my husband and I, as to if this is appropriate for a Wacky Williams post. I guess I won, cause here it is, and he let me shoot it :)
My argument was, most of our culture prides itself into showing off intimacy, but most of it is outside of God's plan for it to remain inside a marriage relationship only. I figure, why not pridefully show it within God's design of marriage?
I remember a sermon series on Sex by a great pastor of our church, and he (while discussing Sex in your marriage as your children get older) said, 'You think it's tough to fit sex into your schedule when your children are young? Just remember, when they get older, they know what you're doing in there!' I had to laugh, because with us in the small children stage, it's a useful argument, but yeah, I guess with older children, there will always be distractions and excuses. LOL! I'm happy to have a relationship with my hubby, that our kids can see that their daddy and mommy are in love and even as we age and life burdens us, that we can have light spirits, and smile and laugh.
David had wanted this 'spy post' to have us wrapping Christmas presents or something... so I guess there's lots of fun we could have made up with our trio of spies :)

Reuben : 2016
Ok, I have to admit.... most of the seniors I've photographed are WAY more mature than I was in high school.... Reuben qualifies as WAY more mature than I was. This kid has me going like 'WOW.' He's great at all he does, and does all with an excellent attitude. He's a great athlete, student, leader, worker, and I'd guess his folks would say he's a great son ;) I grew up in the same church as Reuben and his family, and remember Co-teaching Reuben's preschool Sunday school class um-teen years ago! LOL!
Now, he's quite the gentleman. Responsible in so many more things than I'd imagine a High schooler could take on. Congrats this spring on your Graduation! Enjoy the teasers :) We had to have some fun with his 'America' outfit.... the story behind it was quite hillarious!

Wacky Williams : The Blurs
So, As our kids get older, they get..... faster. So, why not blur them!? We do this at most weddings, and never though about it for our kids! So, here's to our speedy trio.... and there they went. LOL
